Full Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of production on a portfolio of maintenance accounts including labor, materials, and equipment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Support company vision, policies, procedures, safety/training programs, perform accordingly and pass along to other employees.
  • Manage and train employees on how to effectively achieve a clients’ request.
  • To be familiar with each job’s specifications and ensure compliance with quality and efficiency standards.
  • Work as part of the leadership team to map out the seasonal work schedules.
  • Perform inspections of equipment and vehicles to see that all is being maintained properly.
  • Assist with managing budgets and monitoring job cost reports regularly and report back to crew to increase productivity and job efficiency including total hours worked by crew and services performed to ensure quality and profitability. Provide long and short-term planning for maximum efficiency and no wasted time for crews.
  • Manage and lead a team, assist in the hiring/ promotion process, evaluate performance, and provide coaching and timely feedback to optimize employee performance. Develop employees, encourage growth and development of new opportunities within the organization, and plan for succession. Oversee and implement employee discipline when needed.
  • Train employees on all aspects of job (safety, quality, efficiency, equipment)

Skill Requirements:

  • High school diploma required. Associates or bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 4-5 years of experience as a supervisor/ manager with proven ability to train, nurture and develop employees and determine leadership skills in others. General knowledge of irrigation system.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to schedule multiple projects, prioritize work and perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability and responsibility for all activities of self and team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of leadership, team members and clients both verbally and written.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and trust when dealing with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Travel required between client work sites, as well as other operational sites. Occasional travel to facilitate training may also be required.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid 2A Hoisting license.

Schedule:  

  • Typically, the work weeks runs from Monday to Friday, some Saturdays may be required due to client needs and weather.

Experience:

  • Landscape Operations Management: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Landscape Commercial Maintenance: 4 years (Preferred)

Landscape Laborer (Full-Time)

Job Description:

  • Provide customers with a landscape that is attractive and clean while maintaining full use of all the available property facilities at all times.
  • Play a major role in the installation process of high-quality landscape installations.
  • Learn and execute proper landscaping techniques and utilize equipment, power tools, small machinery, and hand tools to carry out full-service installations and proper handling of all materials.
  • Execute strong attention to detail and personal integrity including working with a team or independently.
  • Routinely load/unload equipment on trailers and safely transport equipment and materials to job site.
  • Individuals must be physically capable of properly lifting heavy materials on a regular basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Caring for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, trimming, or edging around flower beds, walkways, and walls.
  • Prune or trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or a chainsaw
  • Maintaining or repairing tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, and benches, and using power tools.
  • Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, and other ground features.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ability to operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws.
  • Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, saws, pruning saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes Solid communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail; confidentiality required.
  • Adaptable- ability to thrive in a constantly changing work environment.
  • Enthusiastic, creative team member- able and willing to participate in community life.
  • Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. and work in extreme weather.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in landscaper and/or maintenance worker duties (Preferred)
  • Hoisting/ Hydraulics license is a plus.

Construction Laborer – Full Time

Job Description:

We have openings for skilled and dedicated Construction Laborers to join our expanding construction company. As part of this role, you should be physically fit, reliable, and be a hard worker. You will operate and maintain various machinery, regularly loading and unloading heavy materials and following orders from supervisors and other skilled tradespeople. Execute strong attention to detail and personal integrity including working with a team or independently. Routinely load/unload equipment on trailers and safely transport equipment and materials to job site. Individuals must be physically capable of properly lifting heavy materials on a regular basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 2A Hydrolics License- Preferred
  • Understanding site plans with emphasis of site work excavation.
  • Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
  • Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  • Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
  • Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ability to operate vehicles and powered equipment.
  • Solid communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail; confidentiality required.
  • Adaptable- ability to thrive in a constantly changing work environment.
  • Enthusiastic, creative team member- able and willing to participate in community life.
  • Able to lift over 50lbs and work in extreme weather.

Requirements:

  • Hoisting/Hydraulics licensing
